Kurds, Turks, guns, mud, US mustn’t fly-bys cry by
bad-ass Slavs attack mad Albs
whether we help them repress, secede this isn’t winning, this is killing
bombs rock towns, blow troops down
guns thump, thugs murmur, guns thump fly-bys cry rhythms
a madman rants, tanks crawl: war
men went there: Serbs, rebels, Greeks in this din, in this winter
No! John don’t go to Kosovo
