Description
SORRY is the first record by gleed, an elderpunk duo from Urbana, Madison, Providence, or any cool college town who makes us an offer. Recorded July 2017 through January 2019 in at least three family homes spread over three states, The Hand-Made Record Studio, Urbana, and Perennial Sound Studio, Champaign. Released Valentines Day, 2019. gleed comprised Ed O'Connor Giles and William K Gillespie. Ed had played bass with a successful and beloved band that was signed to a Geffen subsidiary. William had been taking music lessons for a few months, and previously had been a third clarinet in middle school. The first Trump administration made punk rock seem to write itself.
